Proscend’s Industrial 8-port PoE Long Reach Switch 708EPI-DC offers point-to-multipoint data and power transmission over long-distance PoE extension. Deployed at the network site, it connects up to eight Proscend’s 101EPI Ethernet Extenders, utilizing existing UTP cables. Each 101EPI Extender provides standard PoE, powering remote IP cameras or IoT devices. This solution offers high efficiency, quick installation, and overcomes the standard Ethernet 100-meter distance limit without the need for long-distance power infrastructure, reducing cabling costs and installation risks. With Link Fault Pass Through (LFPT) functionality, administrators can remotely reboot IoT devices in real time, swiftly resolving issues and enhancing maintenance efficiency.
