HUBER+SUHNER's Spuma family embodies low loss, excellent shielding, and flexible cables. Available in various configurations, including halogen-free and flame-retardant materials, these cables offer versatile options. The inner conductor can be provided as solid or stranded, utilizing H+S's patented Rotary Swaging technology.
The shielding and VSWR are optimized for frequencies up to 6 GHz (some versions up to 8 GHz). These cables, more flexible than corrugated counterparts, are easier to handle and install due to their minimal bend radius. These attributes make Spuma cables ideal for demanding installations in defense, security, railway, telecom, instrumentation, GPS, and other sectors. Spuma family, especially Spuma 240_RS_FR and Spuma 400_RS_FR, can serve as excellent alternatives to both LMR® and CNT®.
Innovation from Huber+Suhner in 2023 introduces a series of waterproof (IP67) connectors (SMA, TNC, and N) for Spuma 240_RS_FR and Spuma 400_RS_FR, crafted from SS-316L, designed for exceptionally harsh environments such as defense applications and offshore installations.
