Microwave Cable Options
Multiflex microwave cables are the flexible alternative to semi-rigid cables. They are used in commercial and military RF and airborne microwave systems, communication systems, base stations, satellites, and ground systems – in short: anywhere a flexible microwave cable is required.
S-Series is a cost-effective range of microwave cables with low attenuation. These versatile cables are characterized by very low insertion loss across a wide frequency range. Cables in the S-Series are easy to assemble and made from environmentally friendly, halogen-free materials.
MINIBEND Series is a flexible, pre-assembled coaxial cable designed for internal point-to-point connections between RF modules in systems. The series allows bending directly behind the connector and offers excellent resistance to flame and corrosion, as well as impressive tensile strength and mechanical durability. Each cable is 100% tested to ensure top-quality performance.
Sucoform microwave cables provide clear mechanical advantages compared to semi-rigid cables. They are based on the same design as standard PTFE-insulated semi-rigid cables but feature a tin-plated copper braid as the outer conductor, giving them exceptional formability. Thanks to small bend radii, they enable space-saving cable routing and packing.
Semi-rigid cables are unique in that they can easily be bent into the desired final shape while retaining their electrical properties after bending. This makes them ideal for use with automated bending equipment as well as manual forming with bending tools.
SUCOFLEX® offers superior electrical and mechanical performance for both static and dynamic applications. The series is a premium option designed to deliver optimal performance up to 70 GHz, where high electrical requirements – especially phase stability and low attenuation – are critical. These cables are particularly suited for test and measurement applications as well as defense systems.
