Bredengen has hired John Einar Falck as Business Area Manager for Indoor Mobile Coverage. John Einar (61) has more than 25 years of experience in the telecom industry. He has worked with installation, commissioning and optimization of radio and antenna systems for commercial 2G/3G/4G/5G, GSM-R and TETRA. He is also certified in Private 5G from Siemens. For the past four years, his main focus has been on indoor mobile coverage/DAS.

Until this year, he worked as a Project Engineer at Eltel Networks AS, where he worked, among other things, on planning and design of indoor coverage for commercial buildings, industry and critical infrastructure. He has broad experience with both active and passive DAS systems, including solutions from SOLiD, CommScope, Nextivity and Ericsson. He also has experience using test tools such as TEMS and Ericsson Indoor Planner. He was responsible for commissioning and testing during the implementation of the communication systems at Follobanen/Blixtunnelen, and at Construction City at Ulven in Oslo.

Throughout his career, John Einar has experience both from operational field work and from senior roles with responsibility for design, project execution, troubleshooting, optimization and customer dialogue, in addition to some experience as a project manager.

In his new role, John Einar is building up Bredengen's venture into indoor mobile coverage from the ground up, with DAS (Distributed Antenna System) as the core area. He will work with both active and passive DAS solutions.

For John Einar, it was precisely the opportunity to build a new business area from scratch that made the position interesting – he brings 25 years of industry experience into a role where he shapes the direction himself, from day one.
